About the role
We're building an AI operating system for insurance brokerages. Our agents handle the full service stack: quotes, renewals, endorsements, intake, and claims triage, trained on carrier guidelines, appetite guides, and underwriting manuals, and wired directly into the systems brokers already run on. The goal is to give every brokerage the capacity of a team twice its size, without adding headcount.
We're hiring an AI Engineer to own how our agents reason over insurance language, navigate real brokerage workflows, and ship to production every week. You'll work directly with the founders.
What you’ll be doing
Build and fine-tune agents that handle real insurance workflows: quotes, renewals, endorsements, intake, and triage.
Develop retrieval and reasoning systems over carrier manuals, appetite guides, and underwriting bulletins.
Build and maintain evaluation pipelines to ensure agents are accurate, reliable, and safe in a regulated environment.
Ship new features to production every week. Own the quality of what customers experience over internal facing tools and external tools like iMessage, and RCS.
Work directly with brokerages to turn messy real-world problems into deployable workflows.
About you
Deep familiarity with LLMs, retrieval, agent frameworks, and evaluation.
Strong Python skills. Comfortable with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
You ship fast and care about what lands in production, not just what works in a notebook.
Interested in solving hard problems in regulated industries. Insurance experience is a plus, not a requirement.
Comfortable working and shipping with AI tools.
