About the role
We turn customer conversations into completed work, sharper decisions, and real insight, all inside the systems insurance teams already use.
We're hiring an AI Engineer to push how our agents understand insurance language, reason over carrier guidelines, and complete real workflows end-to-end. You'll work directly with the founders and ship product to brokerages every week.
What you’ll be doing
Build and fine-tune agents that handle real insurance workflows: quotes, renewals, endorsements, intake, and servicing.
Develop retrieval and reasoning systems over carrier manuals, appetite guides, and underwriting bulletins.
Build evaluation pipelines and ensure our agents are reliable, accurate, and safe in regulated environments.
Ship to production every week. Own the quality of what customers experience over iMessage, and RCS.
Collaborate directly with brokerages to turn messy real-world problems into intelligent, deployable workflows.
About you
3+ years of experience in machine learning, applied NLP, or building production AI systems.
Deep familiarity with LLMs, retrieval, agent frameworks, and evaluation.
Strong Python skills. Comfortable with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar.
Bias to ship. You balance experimentation with getting real product into customers' hands.
Interested in solving hard problems in regulated industries. Insurance experience is a plus, not a requirement.
